The old Victoria chocolate factory in Koekelberg provides a modern, informal setting for the Belgian Chocolate Village, where visitors can delve into the history, culture and tradition of chocolate. The site also features an extraordinary tropical greenhouse where cocoa trees grow and where you can find a chocolate workshop, a tasting room as well as a shop.
The informative, interactive circuit explains the stages in the production of chocolate, its uses, its history, its benefits, its economy and much more besides, whilst striving to provoke thought, promote education and ensure that craftsmen’s knowledge is preserved.
A trip through this new exhibition space, which won the Visit Brussels New Event Place 2014 Award, is a real feast for all the senses.
